Welcome to (yet) another marketing blog
Another day, another marketing blog. Here’s why you should stick around for a while.
There’s no shortage of high-quality marketing blogs, and to be frank, I wondered whether starting another one was worthwhile.
One thing, though—a ‘gap in the market,’ some might say—is a blog where we don’t just talk about the ‘hacks’ and ‘hows,’ but rather have a more casual, sometimes geeky chat about what it’s like doing marketing in a New Zealand context. Something that most of the polished blogs and ChatGPT don’t yet offer. A human touch.
Think of me as your marketing bestie, the one you ask things like, “Hey, I’m working on this project, what’s your view on...,” or ponder, “Why do you marketers do...?”
So what does that all mean? Here are some main themes and topics:
Marketing Stuff
This is the ‘work chat’ your boss might encourage—the productive, helpful topics that will support your project or business.
Hot Takes
As close as a marketing blog can get to ‘work gossip,’ where I share my hot takes on what’s happening in the New Zealand business and ad industry.
Frank Chats
Open discussions on topics to do with the world of work, life, freelancing, and more.
Does that sound interesting? I sure hope so. Now, let’s grab a cup and enjoy a quick coffee or two.
